UbuCon Latin America (UbuConLA)

UbuCon Latin America is a yearly event, taking place in a different Latin American city each year. UbuConLA quickly grew from an idea by the Argentina and Uruguay LoCo Teams to the biggest UbuCon in the region, now also involving LoCo Teams from Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Mexico and Venezuela.

UbuCon Latin America 2017

UbuCon Latin America 2017 will take place at Universidad de Lima, in Lima, Peru. The event will run on the 18th and 19th of August 2017, with diverse sessions, outlining content such as Snappy, Juju and the Cloud, and how Ubuntu has helped develop different programs around the region, as well as information about contributing to open source projects. You can find the schedule of the conference at http://summit.ubuntu.com/ubuconla-2017, which will be updated as soon as talks are being accepted.

UbuConLA+ 2016

During the latest UbuConLA, we implemented a new way of attending the conference: via streaming. Thanks to UbuConLA+, where you could enjoy more, closer to you, we intended to expand the audience UbuConLA was reaching. Now you did not have to buy a plane ticket in order to attend the biggest conference in Latin America.

All the sessions, including the opening plenary, were recorded for future reference. You can watch videos of the sessions you are most interested in at the Ubuntu on Air! YouTube channel.
